[Sophis was practically in her ear, spitting 'child' and 'foolish girl' as flock of Hyperion soldiers descended upon her. She managed to dispatch a handful of them almost effortlessly before she felt something cold snap tightly around her neck. She twisted around, tattoos flashing as she directed a fist toward his cheek. Instead of connecting with his face, however, her body connected to the floor. Her fall was almost instantaneous, a motion almost indecipherable above the pain that suddenly lanced through her body.]
